Fall Protection Training

Hosted by the Safety Alliance of Tampa Bay and the Tampa Bay Builders Association
Presented by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB),
in conjunction with the NAHB Research Center.

This program will focus on identifying fall hazards in residential construction, as well as, providing an understanding of the OSHA fall protection regulations and safe work practices to prevent fall-related injuries and deaths. Special emphasis will be placed on how to develop a written fall protection plan, how to protect stairways, leading edges, window/wall openings and floor holes, how to use a Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS), how to safely construct rafters and install roof trusses and sheeting, and other safe work practices when working at heights.
Each participant will receive: NAHB-OSHA Fall Protection Handbook, NAHB Fall Protection Video and valuable safety and health materials.
This course is available complimentary to individuals whose company is a member of the Alliance.

This training is limited to 100 attendees.
